FAQ

Getting Started

How do I get started?

We’re building direct access through our site. For now, simply reach out to us and we’ll provision your instance.

Do I need technical experience to use TensorHost?

Not necessarily. We provide pre-configured images (CUDA, PyTorch, Docker, and more) so you can start quickly. Some Linux or CLI knowledge helps, but we also offer step-by-step guides and support if you’re new.

Is TensorHost Legitimate and Safe?

Yes. Unlike "marketplaces" where you rent hardware from random individuals, TensorHost is a private, infrastructure-owned provider with global presence.

  • Hardware Ownership: We own and manage our servers in professional data centers (primarily in North America and Europe). This ensures higher physical security and more consistent performance.
  • Compliance: We are one of the few "budget-friendly" hosts to explicitly operate within ISO 27001–certified datacentres. This makes us significantly safer than most low-cost alternatives if you are handling sensitive user data.
  • Data Sovereignty: We offer a strict privacy policy. TensorHost operates under UK law and applicable international frameworks. We do not voluntarily provide customer data to third parties and only respond to valid, legally binding requests in accordance with applicable jurisdiction and our privacy policy.

Security & Reliability

How is my data protected?

All traffic is encrypted in transit, and access is strictly role-based. Only authorised personnel manage the infrastructure. We also offer DPAs and BAAs to meet compliance needs.

What happens if a machine fails mid-job?

Secure Cloud instances are prioritised to minimise disruption. Interruptible instances may pause or restart. If hardware fails, we restore or replace your instance quickly, and provide credits or remedies under our support policy.

Sevices & Hardware

What hardware and instance types do you offer?

We run flagship RTX 5090 GPUs alongside enterprise-grade servers. You can choose between:

  • Secure Cloud instances — ISO/HIPAA-ready environments with guaranteed uptime.
  • Interruptible instances — lower-cost servers ideal for flexible or short-term tasks.

How is pricing billed?

Billing is hourly by default. Long reservations and custom enterprise contracts are available — see our pricing page or contact us for quotes.

Pricing & Billing

How is pricing billed?

Pricing is hourly, with discounts for long-term reservations. Businesses can also arrange monthly invoicing or custom contracts. See our Pricing Page for details.

Can teams share projects and billing?

Yes. Multi-user accounts let you manage team access, assign roles, and consolidate billing into one invoice. Perfect for startups, labs, and enterprises.

Storage & Data

How do I move large datasets or add storage?

Each instance includes high-speed local NVMe storage. Additional block or object storage, snapshots, and migration assistance are available. For very large datasets, our team can help with dedicated transfer solutions.
